Short data on the project «Great Russian Album»
 Dear friends!
We thank you for visiting of a site and it is invited to participation in the project «Great Russian Album» which essence consists in creation of a national biographic photograph collection.
The maintenance of the project having social both cultural character and assuming the All-Russia scale, is:
- Gathering and the publication of photos from family archives (a portrait, a group portrait, the shooting period - till 1957), and also biographic texts accompanying them and other documents;
- Creation on this base of the national library-fund which materials can архивироваться as in electronic form (first of all, on an Internet site or a portal), and physically;
- Realisation of some the educational, publishing and exhibition programs connected with the basic maintenance of the project, - not only in Russia, but also abroad.
The project has open character – that is is accessible to participation of all interested persons and for free viewing. Uniqueness of the project is obvious – anything similar (especially, in the All-Russia scale) till now was not undertaken.
The project urged to inspire to its participants feeling of personal participation to Native land history, and will give the chance to each of them to fix in the history of the person, names and destinies of the family – in overwhelming majority of «usual» people by whom, however, our country is obliged very many.
 On a site you can:
- To create own page, to add and edit photos and texts;
- To look through gallery of a site and page of other participants of the project in a full mode;
- To conduct пофамильный and chronological search, using the search filter;
- To communicate with other participants of the project by means of internal mail of a site;
- To receive useful data and recommendations about genealogical search;
- To become one of authors of a national biographic photograph collection, and also the participant of the encyclopaedic publishing program «All Russia in persons and biographies».
Participation in the project will allow to add missing strokes in informal – so, original – country history, and also to fix in it persons, names and destinies of our family which and are – the Native land.
